

Restart the iOS Outlook app and see that Person A's calendar is back as if it were my ownġ. Add Person A again in the Outlook 365 web appĤ. Check that they disappear from my list of calendars in the iOS Outlook appģ. Remove Person A from "People's calendars" in the Outlook 365 web app (or directly from the iOS Outlook app, this didn't make any difference)Ģ. Check that Person A is visible as one of my own calendars in the iOS Outlook appġ. My conclusion is that adding peoples calendars behave differently, and I don't know why. This way I've isolated that the problem somehow exists in how calendar sharing is handled on the server side of Outlook 365. I've tested through the Microsoft Outlook iOS App, which you hopefully do support. Looking forward to any solution, suggestions or bug reports! It seems to me like this is an unintended bug, but it's unclear to me which side of the integration between Outlook and the iOS Calendar the fault lies :) I hope that elaborates and answers your question. I never changed anything manually, so I'm guessing it came with an Outlook 365 feature release at some point. At some point the default value in the "Add to" field changed from "Other calendars" to "People's calendars". Type in email of colleague and select the person showing up from the search. "Add to" field is set to "People's calendars" by default for me, and I just leave that. Click "Add Calendar" in the left hand sidebarĤ. They have appeared automatically after adding them like this:Ģ.

I have not done anything manually to add any of my colleagues calendars to the iOS Calendar. Thanks again for getting back so quickly. I have tried reinstalling my iOS device, but many of my colleagues experience the same issues, so it's not just my phone being weird.

I hope that explains a bit better, the strange and inconsistent issues. I haven't tested whether these actions do anything. I get notifications as if they were my own calendars with actions that allows me to accept and reject meetings, even though I only have read-access. I only get the wrong notifications from two other colleagues, which are not the same calendars as the ones mentioned above. I can even add events to these calendars, even though they are read-only - the changes I make don't show up in the persons actual calendar though (probably because the server rejects the changes to the read-only calendar).Ģ. It's a very strange inconsistency that only two are like that, and not the rest of the 19 I have access to. The problem is that two of my colleagues work calendars are selectable my iOS calendar, even though they are not in the "My calendars" group. My colleagues calendars are in built-in folders called "People's calendars" or "Other calendars". In Outlook, you can have multiple personal calendars, grouped in "My calendars" - those are also selectable in the iOS calendar app. I have read access to 19 of my colleagues outlook calendars through Outlook. I'll use the same numbers as above, so we can refer to them:ġ. I can try to explain my problems again - maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. The problem is that I'm seeing calendars and notifications that are not for my calendars. I share a personal calendar with my family and I want to receive notifications from that, so turning off all notifications from the Calendar app does not solve my problem.
